Again, it is a situation where you may think you are saving money by using a handyman or non-certified contractor, but these are the situations where they may do an improper job and make the situation worse. After remediation work is completed, you need a Mold Clearance Certificate, which is a visual inspection of the work done and an air sample to confirm that it is safe. Non-certified contractors and handymen make up 99% of all failed clearance inspections.
